Last winter, I went to New Jersey to film with Iron Horse Cinema, an indie-film production company, who I've worked with before on multiple occasions. It was so cold! But spending an entire day on set is always so much fun for me because I get to meet new people/castmates as well as work with my friends in IHC.
It was a total blast filming this short! I also think that the interactive choices makes it interesting for the viewer as they get to choose what the character will do, just like how it is in the original PS4 game! Here's the link to the first part. Do also check out the Behind the Scenes video (which I will also link down below)! I hope you enjoy~
Earlier this month, I was part of a short fan film based off of the video game, Dead by Daylight! It was a lot of fun to work on and a very quick shoot at that. We probably only spent about 4 hours in the day in the woods, on the lookout for bears as well! While I had no lines, I definitely showcased my expressions, haha, lots of scared faces and running. While I've worked with the director, Andrew Kim, before on a different set, this was the first time working with him as the head director and not just the stuntman. Check out the video here!
For the past couple of weeks, I worked as a personal assistant for an upcoming musical called Ludo's Broken Bride where I ran social media (twitter, facebook, instagram), was part of run crew, and created basic graphics. It ran this last weekend, a total of 5 shows, for the New York Musical Festival at The Duke Theater on 42nd Street! It was a hectic time but it was so worth it, having gotten loads of experience and making new friends!
Hey guys! My good friend, Billy, who I helped with his nintendo vlog video in the past, invited me to Blogger Bash 2016! We had a ton of fun checking out new products at this giant toy expo. I got to try out a demo for Skylanders Imaginators with the new character, Crash Bandicoot (who is also getting his old games revamped!) it was super cool to be able to try out the game before its release date.
One of the best moments was probably playing Pokemon Go while we checked the booths out! Watch the video below to see my awesome Pokemon catching skills and my cute Arcanine!
Yup! I was in Dance Out Loud! I know, you're here thinking, wait Loren you're not a dancer, you're an actor! I may not be a dancer but when I saw auditions for a puppeteer position, I jumped for it! I played Puppetmaster #2, where we filmed multiple videos and rehearsed the live element that would soon be implemented into the show during tech week. It was hectic and kind of scary, considering I was in a room full of EXTREMELY TALENTED dancers while I only knew 3 people. But I met some really cool people during this experience and well, it was definitely quite an experience!!
Hi everybody! I was so glad to be a part of World Puppetry Day this past monday, 3/21! I was part of the Rescue Rue bunch where we had a photo-op with the cast of Avenue Q! There are multiple articles online about the event posted on Broadwayworld, Theatermania, Playbill, and a whole bunch of other sites!
Yo! Iron Horse Cinema's latest project to be uploaded is the nostalgic anime of Cowboy Bebop! I play as Ed, the kooky hacker! I had such a blast filming this over at the NYC YouTube Studio. If you've got a minute to spare, check it out below!
